The ambience, loacation, service and cleanliness won us over. Will be back!!

A beautiful hotel in the heart of old Lisbon. Everything was minutes walking. We found lovely Portuguese restaurants in the lanes behind the hotel. Convenience factor is 10/10. The staff at the hotel are fantastic! Sheila, Elvis and Claudia are the best. Breakfast is good at 10 euros and convenient unless you want to head out and sit at one of the many pastelarias minutes away.

The temp controls are at Reception, instead of in the room. The control panel in the room just shows state of as is, you cannot control it in room. So when the AC in the room kept switching off and the vent fan stopped in the night, we had to call multiple times to get it started as the room was stifling after a bit. That’s the only con. And they ran out of coffee pods during our stay, so we couldn’t have morning coffee in our room. I guess this is a one off though.

The location was good, staff were great, the decor was impressive, the breakfast was fine, the room was quiet and the bed comfy.

The room was small for a three night stay. Took a near tumble on the slippery shower floor.

The vibe of the hotel, their interior is fantastic! The staff is very professional and helpful. The location of the hotel is in the city centre and close to Rossio station (for trains to Sintra). It is also near to many places of interest. The rooms are better in real life than in the photos. Breakfast is good. The staff provided complimentary bottle of champagne, slice of cake and a personalized note on my wife's birthday, which was a heartwarming gesture.

Quirky, comfortable, clean hotel in a great location.

Good location, close to all main attractions and easy to pop back to hotel if necessary.

We had an amazing stay and the hotel helped make this possible.

Very central hotel. It’s clean and has a unique decor. The room was spacious and we found the automated lights and curtains interesting. When we encountered any issue management was quick and efficient to help.

A brilliant hotel in a superb location. Would definitely return and recommend.

The location of this hotel was brilliant. A few steps from one of the main squares. The staff were friendly and efficient. They went out of their way to be helpful.

Great Location & Nice Amenities

Great hotel location and good value. Everything functioned in the hotel room. We like the red and green lights outside of the room indicating to the housekeeping whether to clean. Breakfast was okay; staff will make eggs to order. Most of the breakfast offerings were fine and to have breakfast included was time and cost-expedient. Staff were mostly helpful in answering questions and providing information and ordering taxi service. We have already referred others seeking accommodations in Lisbon to this hotel. Another plus was having a ground floor restaurant just off the breakfast area.

The door wi-fi key card "cover" on the door fell off (#104), and while we were able to put it back on the door, we know it will fall off again. There should be a sign posted informing breakfast diners that eggs are made to order with a list of available ingredients. The petite hot dogs (not sausages) are terrible; the only other cooked meat option was bacon. We considered dining at the large round wooden table in the corner, but it was dusty - it needs to be cleaned. We inquired about the closest train station to board our train. A desk person reviewed the website and then told us at which station we could board. Unfortunately. we learned at that station that we had to catch our train at another station, which meant we had to pay two taxi fares. To be fair, the on-line train schedule is confusing.
